From the picturesque stone front steps and oak double-door entryway, you enter a small foyer that leads up into bright and cheerful interior of the main room of The Lyceum.

Featuring floor-to-ceiling stained glass windows, hipped roof, and polished hardwood floors, this 19th century Victorian-styled architecture provides timeless Southern hospitality and casual ambiance for your Galveston wedding or reception. An overhead choir loft provides excellent acoustics throughout the building, or for your photographer and videographer.

Adjoining The Lyceum and separated by upward rolling panels, a smaller room called The Lyceta may serve as your dance floor or reception area. A small stage is perfect for your DJ or band to entertain your guests. Downstairs you will find a a full prep-kitchen as well as a Bride’s parlor room. An elevator makes the Lyceum handicap accessible from street to the basement and to main floor of The Lyceum
