The colors. The dresses. The dried florals. There are just too many magical details in this earth tone wedding editorial inspired by 19th century Austrian artist Gustav Klimt. Claudia of Vienna-based Love Stories Wien was inspired by his dreamy paintings, which all feature colors you’d find in overgrown gardens and dried flowers. You’ll find the photos The Mezzinoi captured particularly inspiring if you’re looking for a more undone, natural way to bring nature into your fall wedding.
Many of the colors in Klimt’s paintings were amber and ochre, giving everything an ethereal glow.
The shoot mixed haute couture and fine art styles with the use of sumptuous vintage inspired gowns by Katya Shehurina, which feature antique laces, high necklines, and delicate embroidery.
All of the handmade paper pieces by Atelier Federleicht Fine Art were made to look like paintings themselves.
Yep, can totally see a stylish groom rocking this look for a fall wedding.
The gold picture frames make for unique decor to go along with the dried flowers, don’t you think?
The bouquets and arrangements Austrian flower artist Conny of Florietta dreamt up were made to look like a romantic overgrown garden.
And this cake, with the dangling dried foliage and ferns! It’s by cake designer KUCHENmitSTIL.
As for the location, it all took place at WUK, which is a creative art space and one of the largest socio-cultural centers in Europe. More than 200,000 people visit it each year!
